European Union RED Directive Update - ETSI EN 300 328 V2.2.2

The standard of ETSI EN 300 328 specificsrequirements for data transmission equipment operating in the 2.4 GHz ISM bandand using wide band modulation techniques. Wireless local area network (WLAN), Bluetooth and ZigBee products are required tofulfill this standard. Since there are many devices operate in the 2.4 GHz band, this standard ensures that radio equipment does not cause interferencewith each other and user’s health hazard. The new standard states a clearminimum requirement on the receiver in order to improve spectrum utilization.
